The Hephzibah Tintner Foundation aims to promote opportunities for Australian artists in the field of opera, music and dance who have the potential to make a major contribution to the cultural life of Australia. Conductors are invited to apply for the Hephzibah Tintner Fellowship, to commence in 2010. Successful applicants will undertake training and/or study within Australia and overseas. Training will consist primarily of mentorship opportunities with Sydney Dance Company, The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and may include a program of work to be developed with the companies, at their discretion.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their own suggestions for additional creative development opportunities in the application.
Eligibility
Applicants must be either an Australian citizen or resident
Preferably between the ages of 17 and 38
Demonstrate the potential to make a considerable contribution to the field of opera, music and dance in Sydney in particular, and Australia in general.
